KEYBOARDS 2018 - SYLLABUS SHOWCASE

Get a taster of just some of the exciting new songs featuring on our new Rock & Pop 2018 Keyboards syllabus. Session keyboards player Rosa Ullmann puts her spin on songs from the new syllabus and tells you why she thinks they’re so great to play. The songs featured are: 'If I Ain't Got You' by Alicia Keys, 'Chandelier' by Sia and 'Gold On The Ceiling' by The Black Keys.

TECHNICAL FOCUS DEMO VIDEOS

Learn how to master the skills that appear in some of our technical focus songs for Keyboards 2018 with professional session musician Aidan Glover. These videos focus on a range of techniques from articulation to arpeggiated chords. Aidan started piano lessons at the age of seven and went on to study music at Trinity College of Music, graduating with a Bmus(hons) in jazz performance and jazz piano. Aidan is now a sought after accompanist on the London music scene and has worked with artists including Joss Stone, Michael Kiwanuka, Celine Dion and Kimberley Walsh among many others. Aidan also teaches in two schools and runs jazz and improvisation workshops at schools around London.

Professional musician Harry The Piano takes you through a range of different styles and genres, looking at ways to approach improvising on keyboards. Harry The Piano has a reputation as one of the most gifted improvising pianists in the world, and has often been likened to a human jukebox with his note-perfect knowledge of tens of thousands of classical, jazz, musical, rock and pop tunes. Harry has performed in a dazzling amount of places and venues, from the Moulin Rouge to the Royal Albert Hall and from a palace on the Nile to a car park theatre in Adelaide. He's played with artists including Simply Red, Charlotte Church, Julie Andrews, David Bowie, Elvis Costello and Andrea Bocelli.
