SAMPLE SESSION SKILLS TESTS

The session skills part of our Rock & Pop exams for bass, drums, guitar, keyboards and vocals is worth 20 marks, which is 20% of the total score, so it's a key part of the overall exam. Candidates choose to perform either an improvising or playback (sight reading and aural) session skills test, alongside their performance of three songs.
